Today is expected to be windy with south winds at 15-25 mph and a few gusts even reaching around 30 mph later today.
The highs are between 55 and 65 degrees with increasing cloud and a few peeks of sun throughout the day. The gusty south winds will keep it feeling a bit chilly at times, especially this morning. A light jacket or coat is recommended.
Tonight brings us mostly cloudy skies and lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s. We may have some sprinkles or very light rain (generally along and east of 1-35 corridor). It will be a breezy night with winds 15 – 20 mph.
A chance of rain will occur across mainly eastern and southeastern portions of the region Tuesday and Tuesday night as a cold front pushes through the area. Some locations will fall below freezing late Tuesday night, but at this time it looks like precipitation will come to an end prior to temperatures reaching the freezing mark.
