Numerous showers with a few embedded, rumbles of thunder are expected across the entire area through tonight, though a gradual west to east end is expected across the western half of the region after midnight Saturday.

Total rainfall amounts will be generally less than 1 inch, but isolated higher amounts are possible and could result in run-off due to saturated soils.

Any localized, higher amounts would likely result in minor rises on rivers, creeks, and streams, as well as brief, minor flooding of typical low-lying areas.

Otherwise, cool temperatures will continue with highs in the 50s south, and the mid-upper 40s north.

Low Friday night will be mainly in the 40s.

Rain chances will end Saturday morning, but mostly cloudy and cool weather will prevail through Sunday. Highs Saturday will range from the mid-40s to near 50 with highs Sunday generally in the 40s and lower 50s.

It will be a little breezy on Saturday with northwest winds of 15 to 20 MPH.

“Feel-like” temperatures may fall into the lower 40s north of US HWY 380 on Saturday.
