Rain, rain, go away… The rain is here to stay this week as the remnants of Tropical Storm Sergio still move through the region. Several inches of rainfall have already fallen across Northeast Texas, and a few more inches are still possible for the next few days.

With all the rain we have gotten comes the threat for flooding. Remember to “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.” If you see water over the roadway, turn around and don’t risk it.
The temperatures are very unseasonable for this time of year, but for those of us that like cold weather, it’s wonderful. Several records were broken on Monday because of the low temps. One of those records was the lowest “high” for the day at 49 degrees. The previous record was 60 degrees from 1923.  It will start to go back up, though. Temps will slowly warm back up to the mid-60s by the weekend.
The rain will continue this week, but we may actually see some sun this weekend. We will post your Weekend Forecast on Friday.
