Friday will be sunny and cooler with highs from the mid-40s in the northwest to the mid-50s in the southeast.
Cold and damp conditions are expected over the weekend, with high temperatures remaining in the 40s each day. Rain chances will start on Saturday, increase with time, with the best chances for rain being Sunday night. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible during the Sunday night period, but severe weather is not expected at this time.
It will be dry, cool, and breezy on New Year’s Eve. By 9 pm temperatures will fall into the 40s and they’ll fall into the 30s after midnight. Wind chills will fall into the 30s or 20s after midnight as a cold front moves through causing north winds to increase.
