Today will be another dry day for most of us. Clouds will increase with south winds 15-25 mph in the afternoon.

There is a small chance for a few showers after 4 pm, but most of us will stay dry through the evening.

Thunderstorms are expected to affect most of the region on Saturday. A line of storms will spread into the area from the west during the morning, approaching the I-35 corridor by late morning or midday.

The main severe weather threat will occur ahead of this line through Saturday afternoon mainly east of I-35, where damaging winds, hail, and a tornado or two are possible. In addition, heavy rain may lead to localized instances of flooding due to saturated grounds from recent rainfall.
