A weak frontal boundary will move slowly south today. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur along and south of the boundary, mainly during the afternoon hours. The bulk of the activity will be south of the I-20 corridor. Although showers will likely outnumber storms, any of the cells will be capable of producing gusty winds. Lightning will be the primary hazard with any of the storms. Otherwise, it will be seasonally hot and humid with abundant sunshine. High temperatures will range from the lower 90s in the cloudier areas with shower/storm activity to the upper 90s in the sunnier areas north of the front.
