A cold front will slide into North and Central Texas today bringing some slightly cooler and drier weather over the next few days. The front may be accompanied by a thin line of showers and perhaps a few storms as it moves south. Rain chances increase south of I-20 to around 30-40% this afternoon.
The week will start out hot and humid, but a rare summer cold front will bring relatively milder temperatures and lower humidity to North and Central Texas by midweek. Late this week, temperatures and humidity levels will climb back up to typical late July values.
