Rain chances will return Tuesday night and Wednesday, otherwise dry and seasonal weather can be expected.
Patchy fog is expected to develop after midnight, generally along/east of the I-35 corridor. Additionally, a few areas of dense fog may be possible towards daybreak, with the highest potential towards East Texas. Any fog should dissipate by about 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
A fast-moving storm system will bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday Night. While severe thunderstorms are not anticipated, lightning will be a hazard with all thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts will be light and range from less than one-tenth of an inch west of Interstate 35, to around one-quarter of an inch south of a Hearne to Athens line.
Breezy conditions are forecast on Thursday. Sustained winds of 15-20 MPH with wind gusts of 25-30 MPH are forecast. These winds will be from the northwest. Make sure any loose items and Christmas decorations are secured.
