What started as a few friends praying around flagpoles in Burleson, Texas has now turned into a worldwide event of students across the globe coming together to pray around their school (and community) flagpoles.
See You At the Pole has been going strong for 27 years now and September 27, 2017, will be a day that all Lamar County Schools meet around their school flagpoles to pray for their peers, communities, friends, family, government, and everyone in between.
Students are invited to meet at their campus flagpoles and join their peers in prayer. To confirm participating schools and meeting times, speak with your school directly.
The prayer won’t end there as there is also an event at the Love Civic Center at 7 p.m. where several area church youth groups across Lamar County will meet for games, music, food, and of course, prayer around the flagpole.
“We invite everyone in the community to join us at the Love Civic Center parking lot for an evening of worship and fellowship. See You At The Pole Is a day that breaks through all our denominations and differences so that we can come together. We will have games, food, music, and a message that will challenge and encourage us,” said Pathway Church of God Youth Pastor, Chris Taylor.
