Paris on track for district title

-

The Paris Wildcats have all but secured their playoff appearance this year, and have even higher hopes for District Champs.
Coming off a 27-0 shutout last week against Anna, the ‘Cats now face arguably one of their toughest opponents in the Celina Bobcats. Paris needs to beat Celina this Friday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. and carry that momentum into their matchup against the top-ranked team in Texas 4A-Division 1: Argyle on Oct. 19.
Sitting at third in district standings, Paris needs to bring their A-game against Celina who sits just above them in the rankings. Both teams have a 4-1 overall record and 2-0 in district games. Either team will need to beat Argyle to secure the district championship.
Paris vs. Celina is one of the biggest matchups in 4A football this week and is a must-see by anyone in the area. Paris brings an impressive number of dual-threat players to the field, making for a sensational game to watch, and will be a hard team to beat as they continue to hopefully extend their four-game winning streak.
