Six students from North Lamar Independent School District will compete with other top spellers in the county for a chance to win the Lamar County Spelling Bee Championship title.  Students will compete on Tuesday, February 5 at 4:00 p.m. in the Weger Auditorium at Paris Junior High.

Students winning their campus spelling bees and who will represent North Lamar from Frank Stone Middle School are seventh grader Sophia Mitchell and eighth grader Rachael Laughlin.   Competing from Geneva Bailey Intermediate School are fourth graders Nolan Spencer and Camdyn Hubbard.  Winners who will represent Aaron Parker Elementary School are fifth graders Khadija Joudeh and Payton George.
