North Lamar ISD is gathering input from parents, community members and staff on the possibility of moving to a four-day instructional week.
The school published a message on their Facebook page asking community members to participate in a survey to gauge the “pulse of support at this time”.
The message from the school also said there are no logistics planned out at this time such as which day will be taken off, the bell schedule or any other related details.
“If the District opts for the four-day week, we’ll conduct community meetings and provide any and all information in regards to the change,” said the district.
The survey will close Monday, February 11, 2019, at 4 p.m.
