Kiss a Pig fundraiser to benefit North Lamar cheerleaders

-

This year’s Kiss a Pig fundraiser is set to benefit the North Lamar cheerleaders.

Cheer sponsor Samantha Ballard said organizers hope the event this year will not only raise funds for cheer, but also pump up the students for the pep rally Friday.

“Cheerleaders are set up in the cafeteria during the lunches this week with a poster and buckets that have pictures of each principal (Clay Scarborough, Missy Starnes, Julie Symanik & Patrick Fuller), Wes Brown and Officer Mike Boaz,” Ballard said. “Former student Karlie King has volunteered to let us use her pig.”

Students and teachers can place money into the bucket of the person they would like to make kiss the pig on Friday.
