A Dallas comedian had his last show in Paris, Texas, before suddenly dying from medical complications following a gunshot wound.
Roylee Pate was allegedly shot in the leg more than two weeks ago and underwent surgery shortly after the injury. Pate went live on Facebook on Friday as he made his way to Paris, Texas, for a show at Heritage Hall.
The family of Pate announced on Facebook that he passed away due to blood clots in his lungs at 1:15 p.m. on October 13, 2018, as he awaited another surgery.
Pate was best known for his motto, ‘Enjoy Life’ and had more than 200,000 followers on his Facebook page.
According to fans on his Facebook page, Pate’s last show was at Heritage Hall in Paris, Texas, the night before he died. Pate performed alongside DADAZZ and Melissa with special local guest Mix Society at the Come Make My People Laugh Comedy Show.
