The Lamar County Humane Association along with the city of Paris will host a Spay & Neuter in Paris Clinic this Saturday at the shelter, 310 Clement Road. The clinic is for Lamar County residents with dogs and cats who are at least 6 months old or older. A limit of two pets per household is set.

“We originally had it planned for the fairgrounds, but have had to move it to the shelter,” said Sheri Ashford of LCHA. 

What do you need to bring?

  • Proof of residency
    • Driver’s license or current household bill with name and address on it
  • Pet secured by leash or carrier
    • Proof of vaccinations if the pet is getting spayed/neutered
      • If the pet is not vaccinated, must get vaccinations at the time of the clinic to qualify for a spay/neuter voucher

How much does it cost?

  • $30 for each spay/neuter
  • $8 for rabies vaccination
  • $15 for 4-way or 7-way shot for dogs
  • $15 for kennel cough shot
  • $10 for FVRCP shot for cats
  • $24 for FVRCP with Leukemia combo

When and where does this happen?

  • 9 a.m until 1 p.m.
  • Paris Animal Shelter, 310 Clement Road
