Lights, camera, action. The silver screen comes to Reno, as Reno’s Movies in the Park sets stage April 26 for its movies in the park season at Reno Kiwanis Park, 6820 Pine Mill Rd.

Amanda Willows, Reno Parks and Trails Committee vice chairwoman, said this year’s season, the committee had community input on the movies to be shown.

“We had a great response,” Willows said. “We are so excited that the time is here again for Movies in the Park. It is so important to our committee to be able to provide fun activities for all members of our community. This event is so much fun and is free to the public.”

This year’s movie line up includes:

  • Aquaman,” (PG 13) April 26;
  • Ralph Breaks the Internet,” (PG) May 10; and
  • Mary Poppins Returns,” (PG) May 17.

Willows said concessions will be available during each movie, and if weather becomes a concern, visit Reno Parks and Trails Committee’s Facebook page here for updates.
