The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office stated that more than 80 flyers have now been retrieved from Wolfe City residents that represent KKK propaganda.

According to Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks the calls regarding the flyers first started December 29.

“This kind of activity is very unsettling to everyone and it was evident in the number of houses we responded to Saturday night. I want to assure the public that we are working with Chief Martin and conducting a
thorough investigation,” said Meeks

Officials are asking that anyone that may find flyers of this nature report the finding to local law enforcement.

Officials are investigating after the Ku Klux Klan have allegedly been leaving packets of what sources say are anti-Semitic and racist rhetoric on people’s properties.

Jeff Haines with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office confirmed residents in Wolfe City received startling packages over the past few days.

Hunt County Sheriff deputies and Wolfe City police officers spent most of Saturday evening collecting the packets and reviewing video from property owners.

The group was last known to have distributed their propaganda in the Wills Point area, staging a rally along TX 34 in Quinlan two years ago, officials said.

We will update this story if more information becomes available.
