20-year-old Zacchae’us McDonald was indicted yesterday after being arrested and charged in the connection of shooting and injuring Adrian Davis.

McDonald was arrested in March after investigators determined he shot 27-year-old Davis in the abdomen in February.  The incident took place at a residence on Grove Street.  Davis was taken to the hospital and released a few days later.

McDonald is facing the charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which carries a penalty punishment of 2-20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine if found guilty.
