According to Longview News-Journal, the landmark “Bo Head” statue has found a new place to sit in storage, along with the bronze statue of Lonnie “Bo” Pilgrim and the iconic chicken, Henrietta.

Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce employee Elizabeth Hansen told the Longview News-Journal quite a few people have talked about the head and statue’s latest move to Pilgrim’s son, Ken.

Ken Pilgrim told the Longview News-Journal he requested the bronze statues of his father and Henrietta from JBS, and intends to place them in the Pilgrim’s Bank in Mount Pleasant. However, the head was a bonus.

“The head was really due for some repairs — both the hat and the face and everything,” Ken told Longview News-Journal. “They offered it, and I took it. I’ve got it in the back of my place, and I’m going to let it sit there until I figure out what to do with it.”

Ken said the head and hat need a few repairs, and it meant something to his father.
