Paris City Council approved a change of 2nd Street W. from one-way to two-way traffic.

“In 2015, the traffic commission recommended changing several of the one-way streets in downtown Paris to two-way streets,” said Paris City Manager John Godwin.

House, Price and 3rd Street S.W. were converted in the spring of 2015 and 3rd Street S.W. in May 2017. The 2019 interim downtown plan calls for 2nd Street W. to be converted to two-way traffic, Godwin said.
