100 Club of Lamar County

Lamar County now has it’s own 100 Club and joined the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce.  The first 100 Club started in 1953 when five men came together in Houston, TX in a bold move that would fuel the spirit of support for more than half a century. One hundred people each contributed $100 with the goal of helping those dependents of Houston Police Officers who were killed in the line of duty. The 100 Club is still going strong 64 years later and is now all over the county!

The 100 Club of Lamar County has been established to provide financial assistance and support for the families of Lamar County First Responders “killed in the line of duty.” This includes Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire (paid and volunteer) and Corrections officials.

For more information and/or to join The 100 Club visit their FB page The 100 Club of Lamar County or click on http:/the100clublamarcounty.org – Give a little for those who gave it all.
