Lamar County Humane Association receives truck loads of love

-

Yesterday, Everett Toyota of Paris delivered five Tundra trucks full of dog food to the Lamar County Humane Association.

The dealership began the pet food drive January 1 and the goal was to fill up two trucks with dog and cat food by the end of the month.  ” We collected 4083.5 pounds of food of which Everett Toyota matched. Today we delivered 8167 pounds of food which is 2357 more pounds than last year,” stated Brenda Wells.

The LCHA is a non-profit organization and relies on donations to house, feed and care for animals in need of adoption.

“Thanks to everyone who donated food, snacks and/or toys to our Pet Food Drive, stated Wells.
