Auto manufacturer, Ford is recalling more than 52,000 pick-up trucks due to the risk that the trucks may move while in park.

The company recently announced owners of the 2017 Ford F-250 should use their parking break at all times when shifting into park.  The reason for the movement while in park is because of damaged parking rod plate.

The recall includes certain 2017 Ford F-250 gasoline-powered 6.2-liter vehicles built at their Kentucky assembly plant October 9, 2015, to March 30, 2017.  Drivers are asked to contact their local dealer who will inspect the vehicle and replace the damaged rod at no cost to the customer.

Ford also reports at this time there have been no accidents or injuries related to the recall.
