The brand Jose Ole frozen taquitos made by the company, Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc has recalled 35,168 pounds of product due to the possible contamination of rubber and plastic.

The issue came to light after two customers complained to the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service whereby they found pieces of rubber with white plastic in the taquitos earlier in March.  The materials are said to have come from the plant’s processing equipment.

According to FSIS, the frozen beef taquitos were produced on December 20, 2016 and shipped to various retails locations in California, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wyoming.

FSIS has also reported there have been no adverse reactions to the product and people should throw them away or return the product.
