Tonight is the final night the community has a chance to watch the Paris Municipal Band perform its last concert of the 2019 summer season.

Set to begin at 8:30 p.m. at Bywaters Park in downtown Paris, the concert will feature various performances.

According to Joe Watson, Paris Municipal Band director, the band will perform Sousa and K.L King Marches, “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” a couple of British Folk Songs, Simon and Garfunkel’s “Blood, Sweat, and Tears,” Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera, selections from “The Guardians of the Galaxy” and more.

Watson said the community is “in for a special treat” during tonight’s concert.

“We will be performing a couple of classic Stevie Ray Vaughan tunes that will feature electric guitars, drum set and vocals,” Watson said. “We are lucky enough to have the incredible Karl Louis performing live with the band. Come on out to our concert, and let us entertain you one last time for this summer.”

Bywaters Park is at 300 S. Main St., across the street from Paris Public Library.
