This year’s Paris Can-Can Follies is set for Aug. 2 and Aug. 3, 2019, at PJC’s Ray Karrer Theater, 2400 Clarksville St.
This year’s shows are set to benefit the 100 Club of Lamar County. The 100 Club of Lamar County provides financial assistance and support for the families of Lamar County First Responders killed in the line of duty, and this includes Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire (paid and volunteer) and Corrections officials.
“The follies are 50 percent community involvement and 50 percent fundraiser for a community need,” said Can-Can Follies Organizer Lisa Spann. “The 100 Club was a new agency showing support for local first responders, and the follies gave the 100 Club the much-needed awareness for the new agency.”
The follies will feature acts from well-known Parisians doing silly song-and-dance routines.
For more information or to join The 100 Club, go to the100clublamarcounty.org and give a little to those who gave it all.
The show will start each night at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 a piece.
