Children with special needs are invited to the Exceptional Rodeo on Friday at the fairgrounds.

Horses, goats and other animals will be set up for the children to enjoy, along with hayrides and free lunches.

“Just seeing them get on the horses and watching their faces light up is a great feeling,” said volunteer Amanda Bailey. “It’s so rewarding to be a part of this.”

The free event invites all children with special needs to attend and begins at 9:30 a.m.

“We’ll serve them a free lunch around noon,” Bailey said. “The public is also invited to come and watch the children have fun.”

The event will take place at the fairgrounds in Paris, 570 E. Center Street in Paris.
