The Creative Arts Center Lecture Series continues at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018, with a talk by Wilda Wahrenbrock about the Native American flute – its history and culture. Wilda owns 13 handmade flutes by Native American artist Brent Haines of Colorado.

Each flute is an exquisite work of art with its own sound and tonal qualities often determined by the wood with which it’s made. Wilda will bring several flutes with her and play them, discussing the difference in their sound and the totems that each one bears.

The event is free but the arts center appreciates donations which will go to their Summer Camp program. For more information, call the Creative Arts Center, 200 W. 5th Street in Bonham at 903-640-2196.
