Two individuals were arrested yesterday for unauthorized use of a vehicle. One of the arrests was a result of an outstanding warrant stemming from a case involving the theft of a Kawasaki Mule which was reported stolen from the 2500 block of NE 36th in late August.
The suspect arrested was Courtney Thornton, who was arrested in the 32oo block of Lewis Lane at 9:28 a.m.
Later in the day officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of W Kaufman and made contact with Amanda Johnson. The vehicle that was stopped, a white Chrysler PT Cruiser, had been reported stolen out of Michigan. Johnson was placed under arrest for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
In the last 24 hour period, Paris Police Officers responded to 88 calls for service and arrested 4 people.
