The Federal Bureau of Investigation Crime Scene Unit assisted Lamar County Sheriff Deputies on Wednesday to serve a search warrant in connection with an open murder investigation in Paris, Texas.
The murder of Tramaine Kellum, 27, has been a mystery after he was found dead under a bridge in Paris, Texas in 2013. According to a report shared by KXII, Kellum was reported missing days before his body was discovered under a bridge in a rural area in Southwest Lamar County.
A medical examiner report found Kellum to have died by multiple gunshot wounds.
The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they, along with assistance from the FBI, served a search warrant in connection with this murder investigation at a location in Northwest Paris on Wednesday.
The investigation is still open and active and law enforcement were unable to provide any further information to the public at this time.
