Arrest made regarding Hit and Run Incident on Pine Bluff

Tevin Williams, 23 of Paris was charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident this morning.  Mr. Williams turned himself in on the warrant at the police department around 9:50 a.m. Officers received information regarding Mr. Williams possible involvement and located a 2000 Pontiac 4 door, green in color parked in the area of 7th SW and W. Changes coming to PJC nursing programs

After a site visit and review by nursing consultants, Paris Junior College is making several changes to the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) and Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) programs. “Last month we had consultants review the nursing programs and we’re beginning the implementation of some of the recommendations now,” said PJC President Dr. Pam Anglin. “It’s important that we move quickly on that. Target recalls Tic Tac Toe Board due to choking hazard

If you have kids you know all too well how they love to put objects in their mouths.  But it’s very dangerous when that object is a magnet, and the reason Target is recalling 19,000 magnetic tic tac toe boards. On Wednesday the major retailer announced the recall of the board (pictured) that contains pieces with magnets on the back that could possibly fall off, posing a choking hazard.
