Frito-Lay recalls several products for possible Salmonella

Frito-Lay announced a voluntary recall on some of their products involving their seasoning blend which may contain Salmonella. Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis. Roxton ISD names Prom King and Queen

Over the weekend Roxton ISD celebrated Prom with their classmates and friends. Among them were two named Prom King and Queen. Senior Tucker Clark, and Junior LaRanda Story were named King and Queen for their 2017 Prom by fellow classmates.
