This month our poll question was “what’s your favorite Christmas movie?”  The results were 31% of you voted for Christmas Vacation starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as your favorite.  Christmas Vacation was released in 1989 and has been labeled a Christmas classic.  If you have not seen this very funny and endearing movie, check it out this year.  It guarantees to make you laugh until you heart.

It’s A Wonderful Life came in second in our poll with 20% voting for this old black and white film starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.  The 1946 American Christmas fantasy drama film was produced and directed by Frank Capra, based on the short story “The Greatest Gift”, which Philip Van Doren Stern wrote in 1939 and published privately in 1945.   The film is now among the most popular in American cinema and because of numerous television showings in the 1980’s has become traditional viewing during the Christmas season.

Next up was Elf starring Will Farrell and then A Christmas Story.  What ever your favorite Christmas movie is, it’s not the movie itself, it’s the ones you watch it with.  So grab the popcorn and cookies and settled into your most comfy pair of pajamas and enjoy.

Our poll for January will be; Will you be setting any personal goals or New Year Resolutions?
