There are only twelve days left until Christmas and this is your last minute High Tech must haves for that special person in the tradition of the 12 days of Christmas! So sing along as we look at the some of the highest sought after or most wanted items reviewed, ranked or sold at Amazon.com, Brookstone.com and CNET.com.

The 1st Day of Christmas item is the Livestream MOVI (shown in the photo above) that was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January of 2016. It appears that by production is has morphed into the MEVO camera offering 150 degree, 4K sensor, and built-in stereo microphones that provides HD quality video to your I phone for $340.

The 2nd Day of Christmas item can be used to project your freshly made videos (from your 1st Christmas item) on any surface suitable to view it on. It is the Big Shot Ultra Short Throw Smart Projector from Brookstone. It can project a 42″ image when the projector is only 15″ away from the wall, an 80″ image at 17″ from the wall, and a 100″ image at 22″ from the wall. It provides 1280 x 720p HD resolution for $700.

On the 3rd Day of Christmas I’m thinking of my Hungarian Vizsla dogs as well as your furry family members.

Now my dogs need plenty of exercise and when I’m at work they need something to keep their minds occupied.

So I am recommending the CleverPetCleverPet that started off as a Kick Starter Project and made its way onto the CNET CES Top 48 list for 2016. I went to the CNET CES list (#27 of 48) and read up on this $300 dog toy/food feeder. It’s similar to the light up game “Simon” the flashes lights. If the dog or cat taps the right light with its paw, then the device gives out food or a treat. As your animal learns how to use it, the pattern of lights increases their ability

On the 4rd Day of Christmas we need to have something on the list for the little ones. Number 20 on the CES list of Cool New Gadgets is the Fisher Price Code-a-Pillar. Your preschooler puts together the segments and watches it go, then as they re-arrange the sections, it will go in a different direction. It has an endless amount of combinations and encourages experimentation. It can help develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. Toys “R” Us has it as one of their “Toy of the Year Award Finalist” and it is on sale for $43.

On the 5th Day of Christmas I found this on the CES Cool New Gadgets List as another Kick Starter project. The Cycle Board Street Surfer is now in production as a really cool electric 3 wheeled skateboard with a 20 MPH top speed. I found their website and the units start at about $1300 and go up based on options like a smart phone mount, cool deck options or extended batteries allowing it up to 15-25 miles of travel.

On the 6th Day of Christmas if you get your roll on with the Street Surfer, then you will need a GoPro HERO+ (Wi-Fi Enabled) to record your riding experience (or wipeouts).  It can record in 1080P or 720P, take 8MP single, time lapse or up to 5 fps burst photos.

Tune in tomorrow as we finish the 12 Days of Christmas with six more new high tech gadgets and goodies.  There is one in particular I know you will like or laugh at.

Until Tomorrow.
