There is not a day that goes by that I don’t hear people tell me about some sort of health complaint or symptom they are experiencing ranging from allergies, insomnia, acne, blood sugar issues, headaches, indigestion, bloating, fatigue, PMS, anxiety, cholesterol problems, or an inability to lose weight. Sadly, these symptoms are so common now that many people believe they are just normal.

I get the feeling that people truly have no idea how good they were designed to feel.

Did you know that symptoms are the LAST thing to appear in the disease process? Before symptoms manifest, there is always malfunction within the body that precedes this. Therefore, your symptoms are not the problem. They are the result of the problem. In other words, your symptoms do not tell me what is wrong with you. They simply tell me that something is wrong.

“Did you know that symptoms are the LAST thing to appear in the disease process?”

Most common symptoms and health complaints can be alleviated by making simple nutrition and lifestyle choices consistently over time. To build health, this is where everyone should always start as it lays the foundation for our body to begin healing on its own. However, despite making all the right choices, sometimes there may be malfunctions going on at a deeper level within the hormone, immune, detoxification, digestion and nervous system, that nutrition and lifestyle choices alone may never resolve. If malfunction within any of these systems is left undetected and untreated, it will prevent you from ever reaching your health goals.

This is where Functional labs come in. Functional labs fill in the gaps when nutrition and supportive lifestyle goals are not getting you results. They allow us to end the cycle of trial and error, stop guessing what is wrong with you and find real answers and solutions! You can always find something, whether it be medicine or natural remedies, that can keep your main health complaints at bay temporarily, but unless you get to the root of what is going on, they will always come back, or worse, create even more health issues.
