The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a rash of burglaries and thefts occurring in the southwest part of Lamar County. Sheriff

Detectives were investigating the burglary of a building off FM 1184 where multiple items were taken from a shop building. The value of the items stolen in the burglary resulted in property loss of more than $6,500. Sheriff detectives were able to recover a majority of the owner’s property including a 4-wheeler, welder, plasma cutter, and roll-around tool chest.

Sheriff detectives identified three suspects connected with this burglary.

Arrest warrants were obtained for felony theft of property greater than $2500 but less than $30K for a Ricky Joel Seat, 35, Colton Paul Booker, 36, and Ty Norman Warner 26. Both Seat and Booker remain in the Lamar County Jail on bonds totaling $5,000 each. Warner remains in the Hopkins County Jail awaiting transport.
