President Carl T. Cecil has announced three promotions at Liberty National Bank approved by the board of directors on Jan. 8.

Angie Bryan is now senior vice president and human resource manager. Chase Coleman was also named senior vice president and loan officer. Tina Weddle is the loan department supervisor at the main bank.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am proud to announce these promotions,” Carl T. Cecil, President of Liberty National Bank said. “Each one of these individuals has demonstrated the ability and willingness to accept additional responsibilities and provide exceptional customer service.”

Bryan joined Liberty when the bank bought Guaranty Federal bank in 2000. She helped with the transition from Guaranty to Liberty as a new accounts/customer service representative. She was later transferred to the main bank as an operations assistant. In 2003, she was promoted to assistant cashier and to assistant vice president in 2008 after being named as the bank’s human resource manager. In 2011, she was promoted to vice president. She now serves as a senior vice president and human resource manager. Once the Collegiate branch remodel is complete she will serve as the senior officer at the branch. Bryan is a Prairiland High School graduate and attended Texas A&M University-Commerce where she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She and her husband, Glenn Bryan have one daughter, Amy Brown and son-in-law Brent Brown.

Coleman joined the bank as vice president and a loan officer in 2017. He has been promoted to senior vice president and will continue to serve as a loan officer at the main bank. He will continue to add to his duties in the operations management of the bank including budgeting and asset/liability management. Coleman is a graduate of North Lamar High School and attended Texas Tech University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance. He later graduated from the University Of Wisconsin Graduate School Of Banking. He and his wife, Leia have one son, Hayes Coleman.

Weddle was hired in 1994 in the bookkeeping department. Over the years she has worked as a loan teller, loan utility, loan secretary and real estate processor. In 2013, she accepted the position as loan support. She was named loan department supervisor after the retirement of the previous supervisor, Judy Dockrey. Weddle is a Prairiland High School graduate and attended Paris Junior College. She is married to Robin Weddle and has two children, Cody McMikel and Avery Weddle.
