Opened in 2011 by the Ross family, United Country AltaTerra Realty and Auction is a family owned and operated business, and it provides unique marketing and advertising strategies for local and rural real estate across Texas.

“With our broker, team of professional brokers and agents licensed in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas, our reach is extensive and can handle any real estate transaction needed,” J.W. Ross said. “We are experts in the marketing and locating of property, and our company is highly dedicated to advertising and marketing local listing to the national market then other real estate company.”

United Country AltaTerra Realty and Auction in Paris offers full-range, professional real estate services for listing and selling rural properties for a variety of lifestyles.

“Our office of team members offers price evaluation services for property owners and potential sellers, as well as real estate sales processes and real estate assistance for our buyers,” Ross said. “We are experts in the marketing and locating of any property.”

Also as an auction company, United AltaTerra Realty and Auction can sell different types of real estate properties, personal property and equipment either online or through a live process.

“This provides the unique opportunity for United Country AltaTerra Realty and Auction to take care of all your extensive personal and real estate property needs with one real estate company,” Ross said. “We are not just your original local real estate company.”

United Country AltaTerra’s primary focus is to take care of their clients and provide quality personal assistance.

“We use a team armed with the highest level of expertise and the highest degree of business and personal integrity found in the industry today,” Ross said.

Multi-million dollar producer Realtor Kristen Strun said, “I have a certain way of making sure I represent my clients in the best way possible and help them achieve their goal of selling or purchasing their next dream property. In order for me to do that, I always ask to get the story behind why they want to move or sell. Whether it’s a new job, larger home to start their family or just because they want a new beginning here in Paris, this helps me personally connect with my clients and helps me better understand where they stand. This simple connection helps me share the same vision so I can move forward on my marketing strategies that best fit each individual client. Home is not a place, but a feeling.”

Working with his buyer clients for about two months, licensed AltaTerra Realtor Davis Burkhardt and his clients became close.

“We are not only there for our clients during the good times, but also during the bad times when hitting brick walls through the financial processes and inspection when they don’t know what to do, and if they are going to lose their chance of purchasing the perfect hoe for their family,” Ross said. “This became the case for his clients.”

After diligently working to find the home for his clients, Burkhardt’s clients lost the chance to purchase a home when their youngest child became ill and was hospitalized.

“Automatically knowing what this meant, Davis and members of the AltaTerra team stepped up to help the family in any way possible during this tragic time,” Ross said. “When the tragedy was over, it was Christmas time, and they invited their realtor to their apartment to talk about the next steps toward purchasing a home, but it was a surprise dinner followed by Christmas cookies and Christmas carols sung by their children.

“This is why our agents are different,” Ross said. “We don’t work solely for a commission check, we work for our clients to make their ambition of purchasing property a reality.”
